The AION UT Super, jointly developed by CATL, JD.com, and GAC Group and branded as the "People's Great Car," was officially launched on November 9. Two purchase options are available for this car: battery leasing and whole-vehicle purchase. The purchase price under the battery leasing model is only RMB 49,900, truly making "great cars at an affordable price" possible.

AION UT Super integrates CATL's battery technology and battery-swapping ecosystem, JD.com's competitive advantages in user insights, car sales, and car maintenance, and GAC's vehicle manufacturing capabilities. With the support of Choco-Swap, this car has a long range of 500 kilometers and supports ultra-fast battery swapping in 99 seconds. It precisely addresses consumers' pain points such as low charging efficiency, high purchase cost, and anxiety about battery degradation, and provides users with a more efficient and cost-effective travel solution. 

Meanwhile, the CATL Naxtra sodium-ion battery will be first applied in the Choco-Swap vehicle models in 2026.

Car purchasers now can enjoy three major benefits: cashback, value addition, and price protection. In terms of cashback, the first 15,000 purchasers will receive a car purchase subsidy of RMB 2,000-4,000, and the first 1,000 PLUS members will be given an additional RMB 2,500 JD.com E-card. In terms of value addition, there is a limited-time discount on the monthly battery rent. Specifically, for users who choose to purchase the car in the form of battery leasing before 24:00 on December 8, the monthly battery rent will be reduced from RMB499/month to RMB 399/month for a limited time period. In addition, JD.com Plus users will be given 100 free Choco-Swap service vouchers. Moreover, a "180-day price protection" promise has been made. A user can get 10 times the price difference as compensation if the price drops within half a year after his/her taking delivery of a car. Therefore, early purchases are more cost-effective.

At the same time, in terms of the refueling network, a "national battery-swapping" network is taking shape at an accelerated pace. On November 8, the 800th Choco-Swap station in China was officially put into use next to the Daming Palace Scenic Area in Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi Province. According to the plan, there will be 1,000 Choco-Swap stations in 45 cities across China by the end of 2025, and more than 2,500 ones in approximately 120 cities in 2026, with a long-term goal of 30,000 ones.
