CATL and SPIC sign strategic cooperation agreement
On March 11, 2021, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL) and State Power Investment Corporation Ltd. (SPIC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. Tan Libin, vice president of CATL, and Liu Mingsheng, deputy general manager of SPIC, signed the agreement with Robin Zeng, founder and chairman of CATL and Qian Zhimin, chairman of SPIC, in attendance.
According to the agreement, both parties will integrate their respective advantages in the industry and strengthen cooperation in branding and marketing, technology and product development, to explore a highly efficient and profitable business cooperation model, and jointly improve sustainable development and innovation capability.
Meanwhile, CATL and SPIC signed an implementation agreement. Both parties reached an in-depth consensus on the further implementation of the strategic cooperation agreement.
