On October 12th 2024, the launch ceremony of SAGMOTO's new EV models, Zhiyun Tianxing edition, was held in Ningde, Fujian Province, during which CATL entered strategic partnership with SAGMOTO.  SAGMOTO is a new brand initiative by Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group aimed at international market. 

SAGMOTO Zhiyun Tianxing Edition light-duty trucks, powered by CATL TIANXING L batteries, feature industry-leading performance, safety and durability. During the launch event, two EV models under Zhiyun Tianxing Edition were unveiled--the fast-charging edition and the long-range edition. Among them, the Zhiyun Tianxing 2C fast-charging edition offers a driving range of 200km on an 18-minute charge, meeting the needs for fast charging in the commercial vehicle market; while Zhiyun Tianxing 120kWh long-range edition enables a comprehensive range of over 445km under standard load conditions, significantly alleviating users’ range anxiety. 

SAGMOTO, a trusted brand in the industry known for its dedication of “making excellent vehicles for users and creating value for customers,” has maintained a long-term high-quality cooperation with CATL, which has become the sole battery supplier for SAGMOTO's new energy vehicles in 2019. In addition, CATL is expected to offer battery solutions for more than 6,000 SAGMOTO light-duty trucks in 2024. 

With the advancement of China's "dual carbon" goals, the commercial vehicle market is faced with a great challenge of electrification. Looking forward, CATL and SAGMOTO will make a joint effort to provide more efficient, intelligent, and affordable solutions for city distribution, express delivery, supermarkets, and other sectors, opening up a new era of green and intelligent logistics with greater speed.
