CATL was selected into the Top 10 “China ESG Model” enterprises.

Recently, CATL was named to the Top 10 “China ESG Model” list by China Media Group during the first “China ESG Model” annual ceremony broadcast on the CCTV Finance Channel. This recognition highlights CATL's leading practices and remarkable achievements in ESG fields. Notably, CATL is the only new energy innovation technology company to be selected.

The first “China ESG Model” annual ceremony took place under the theme of “Responsible Role Models Leading the Sustainable Future”. The event highlighted outstanding practices of China’s ESG model enterprises, aiming to guide Chinese enterprises to enhance their own sustainable development capabilities through the power of role models, and to inject greater momentum into the global sustainable development cause. The Top 10 “China ESG Model” include CATL, SINOPEC, SPIC, CHN ENERGY, China Mobile, BAOWU, China Resources, Agricultural Bank of China, Tencent, and Geely Holding Group.

The panel made the following remarks about CATL: “From Lighthouse factory to zero carbon factory, from battery passport tracking carbon footprints to China-EU cooperation setting new benchmarks, CATL has empowered thousands of enterprises with its electrification and zero carbon solutions.”

Wu Yingming, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors and Chairman of the Ecological Development Committee of CATL, attended the event and accepted the award. “Adhering to the innovation-driven development strategy, CATL will continue to promote the innovation and upgrading of the new energy industry, and share the new opportunities of green and low-carbon development with the entire industry,” Wu said in an interview with CCTV.
