Shenxing Superfast Charging Batteries to power Chery EXEED Exlantix models 

On October 16, Chery Holding Group and CATL jointly announced that Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery will be used on EXEED Exlantix, the premium EV model of Chery, further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two parties. Yin Tongyue, chairman of Chery Holding Group, and Dr. Robin Zeng, chairman and general manager of CATL, attended the signing ceremony. 

It took only two months for CATL to unveil the first model that will be powered by Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery following the release of the battery, which truly demonstrates the essence of Shenxing: fast charging, fast application and fast mass production. Supported by CATL’s leading extreme manufacturing capacity, Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery will achieve mass production by the end of 2023, and the electric vehicles equipped with Shenxing batteries will be available on the market in the first quarter of next year. In the future, Chery and CATL also plan to promote vehicle models powered by Shenxing batteries in global markets including in Europe, the Middle East, ASEAN and North America, and jointly push forward the early realization of global electrification and the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.

Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery has timely responded to users’ demands for superfast charging, long range, charging across wide temperature range, and battery products with high level of safety. With innovative technologies such as super electronic network in the cathode, second-generation fast ion ring, and superconducting electrolyte, the battery is capable of delivering 400 km of driving range with a 10-minute charge. 

As of now, Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery has been adopted by brands such as Chery, Avatr, and NETA. CATL is leading the EV industry into the era of superfast charging.
