CATL Signed Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with Ordos to Promote Energy Transition
On August 5, CATL signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the city of Ordos to promote green energy transition of the city, which is a major energy hub in China.
Li Li, party chief of Ordos, expressed his expectation that CATL could tap the potential of cooperation, give full play to its leading advantages in the field of new energy, accelerate the pace of industrialization of innovative achievements, broaden the application scenarios of new energy, intensively promote the implementation of cooperation intentions, and open up more new areas and tracks of development to achieve mutual benefit, win-win and common development.
Dr. Robin Zeng, chairman and general manager of CATL, said that CATL expects to enhance communication and deepen cooperation with Ordos in more fields to integrate superior resources, optimize industrial layout, and achieve win-win development through cooperation.
According to the agreement, the two parties will leverage their respective advantages to establish a multi-level and all-round strategic cooperation focusing on building the new power system, industrial layout, financial services, and talent cultivation.
