CATL, Everbright Greentech and Yongfu Enter into Strategic Cooperation Agreement

Recently, CATL signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Everbright Greentech Limited (Everbright Greentech) and Fujian Yongfu Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (Yongfu) in the city of Ningde, Southeast China’s Fujian Province. 


According to the agreement, the three parties will give full play to CATL's first-mover advantage in energy storage technologies, Everbright Greentech's experience in operation and industrial integration in the sectors of biomass power generation and environmental protection and Yonfu's capability in electric power system integration and comprehensive service to jointly provide competitive "carbon neutral city" solutions for local communities and commercial and industrial users in the fields of carbon resource development, green electricity transaction, comprehensive energy and environment management. In addition, the three parties will explore and develop spot electricity transaction, carbon monitoring, carbon capture and carbon trading. 


In the future, CATL will keep promoting carbon neutral strategy, actively undertake social responsibilities and work together with partners to provide customers with cleaner energy, contributing to the efforts to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
