A strategic agreement was signed between CATL and Toyota
Ningde, China, July. 17, 2019 / -- Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (or “CATL”) signed a strategic partnership agreement with Toyota Motor Corporation (or “Toyota”) recently. It marks CATL becomes one of the major lithium-ion battery suppliers to support Toyota on expediting and deepening its global vehicle electrification.
CATL is a global leading company in supplying power batteries and has achieved successful partnerships with worldwide OEMs in the midst of rapid vehicle electrification in recent years. Toyota, global top tier automobile enterprise, has great accumulation of traditional automobile development and manufacture experience and developed various technology roadmaps to realize its electrification strategy.
